Terms of service

These terms govern how companies access and use DestrierOS.

These Terms of Service are between Schardt Industries and the company using DestrierOS. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. Last updated April 21, 2026.

Provider

DestrierOS is provided by Schardt Industries.

Business and support requests can be sent by email.

Contact: matthewschardt@schardtindustries.com.

Who may use the service

DestrierOS is intended for business and organizational use, not personal consumer use.

Owner accounts may be created through public self-signup, and additional accounts are provisioned by invitation from a company workspace.

You represent that you are authorized to act for your company and to give users access to the workspace.

Customer responsibilities

Your company is responsible for user management, permission assignment, workspace configuration, and the legality of the data it uploads to the service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials and for notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

If your workspace connects third-party services such as Google or Microsoft 365, you are responsible for ensuring you have authority to connect those systems.

Acceptable use

using the service in violation of law, regulation, or another party's rights

attempting to bypass security, access controls, tenancy boundaries, or rate limits

uploading malware, harmful code, or content intended to disrupt the platform

using DestrierOS to store or process data you do not have authority to control

reverse engineering or copying the service except where applicable law clearly permits it

Data and ownership

As between the parties, your company retains its rights in the business data it submits to DestrierOS.

You grant Schardt Industries the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, secure, back up, and support that data in connection with the service.

We may use aggregated and de-identified service information to improve the platform, provided it does not identify your company or users.

Availability and changes

DestrierOS is evolving, and features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.

We aim to operate the service reliably, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

We may perform maintenance, security updates, and infrastructure changes as needed to operate the platform.

Commercial terms

Published monthly pricing applies unless your company has a separate written agreement with Schardt Industries.

Billing activation, taxes, implementation, hardware shipping, and special terms may be completed separately from initial owner signup.

Termination and retention

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, security risk, legal necessity, or nonpayment once paid plans exist.

After termination or cancellation, workspace data may be retained for up to 90 days before deletion, subject to backups, legal obligations, and security retention needs.

Warranty disclaimer and liability

Except as required by law, DestrierOS is provided on an as-is and as-available basis.

Schardt Industries disclaims implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Schardt Industries will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute relating to these terms or the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and each party consents to that venue and jurisdiction.
